Description
Some children need no persuading to label their own things. This is for the others.
π€ A robot on the handle
Black, pink, blue, white or green. It is a small, solid robot and it is, reliably, the detail that makes a reluctant five-year-old want to do the stamping themselves β which is the whole trick, because a child who labels their own coat is a child who notices when it is missing.
It is also the design that survives being left on a desk at school without embarrassing anybody.
ποΈ About 1,000 impressions from one stamp
It is self-inking, so there is no separate pad to lose and nothing to dip. Press, lift, done β roughly a second per item, which matters on the night before term starts when there are forty things to get through.
π§ It stays on through the wash
Textile ink, made to survive 50 washes and more, by hand or machine. The only rule is the first one: leave the print to cure for 24 hours before it meets water, and after that you can stop thinking about it.
π Clothes, and everything else
- Clothing β vests, jumpers, coats, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, shoes, slippers
- Soft toys, comforters, and the bag they travel in
- Nursery and school kit β books, folders, pencil cases, lunch boxes, water bottles
- Sports kit, swimming bags, wellies, anything that leaves the house
On fabric it prints straight onto the care label or the inside of the collar. On hard surfaces β plastic, wood, paper β it prints directly.
βοΈ How you personalise it
Pick an icon from the grid, type the name β up to 12 characters β and that is the stamp we cut. It is made for one child, so check the spelling before you order: we cannot re-cut a stamp that is already made.
π·οΈ Adding name labels
The stamp handles anything you can press flat. For the things you cannot β fiddly straps, rough weave, textured plastic β add 50 or 100 printed stick-on labels with the same name. They go on in seconds and come off nothing.
π It makes a good present
For a new nursery place, a birthday, a first school year. It costs less than a toy that gets forgotten by February, and every parent who has lost a jumper understands it immediately.
π¦ In the box
One self-inking stamp loaded with textile ink, in a hard case. Refill ink is sold separately and takes it to roughly another thousand prints.
Delivery & returns
Flat EU delivery, free over the threshold shown at checkout. Ordered before noon on a working day, personalised and posted the same day.
You have 14 days to change your mind, in line with your EU right of withdrawal. A personalised stamp is made for one child and cannot be resold, so we can only take one back if it reached you faulty or we cut the wrong name β if we made the mistake, we remake it and pay the postage both ways.
How your stamp is made
Making it
Pick one icon from the grid and type the name, up to 12 characters. That is the artwork β there is no proof to approve, so check the spelling before you order.
First print
Press firmly onto a flat surface, lift straight up, and leave it 24 hours to cure before it meets water. After that it is through the wash.
Keeping it going
Store it closed so the pad does not dry out. If prints come out faint, the pad needs ink rather than the stamp needing replacing β a 5 ml refill takes it to roughly another thousand prints.
FAQ
Questions parents ask
How long does the print last?
The ink is made for textiles and holds through 50 washes and more, by hand or machine. The one rule is the first print: leave it 24 hours to cure before it meets water.
What can I stamp?
Anything you can press flat β care labels, collars, cotton, soft toys, books, pencil cases, lunch boxes, water bottles, wellies. For straps, rough weave and textured plastic, add the printed name labels instead.
I typed the name wrong. Can you change it?
Only if you tell us before it is cut, so email us straight away and we will catch it if we can. Once a stamp is made it carries that name and cannot be re-cut.
Will it fit a long name?
Up to 12 characters. Longer names are usually shortened to the version the child actually answers to, which is also the one that fits a care label.
Does it run out?
About 1,000 impressions before the pad needs ink. A 5 ml refill bottle takes it to roughly another thousand, several times over.
